Auditions

So you want to be a Misfit huh?

auditions are held at the end of each year. Once we finalize auditions dates they will posted here. you will need to sign up for a time slot outside ethan sperry's office in 204 presser hall. slots are in 15 minute time intervals

Prepare a song of your choice. it should showcase your voice and be sung a cappella

Your audition will also include a test of your range, tonal memory (singing a series of notes that we play on the piano), and sight reading a brief selection.

each part of the audition is equally important. we understand that everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, which is why we test multiple aspects of musicality. the important thing is to give everything your best shot. remember to be yourself and have fun!
